Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question about Starlite Dental or dentistry in general? If so, then you’ve come to the right place! Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions Dr. Jaiswal and our team receive every day. Of course, if you have a question that hasn’t been answered here, feel free to give us a call any time! We’re always happy to talk to you and make sure you completely understand how to take care of your dental health.
How often should I visit the dentist?
Dr. Jaiswal agrees with the American Dental Association’s recommendation on this one: patients of all ages should receive at least two checkups and cleanings each year, or about one every 6 months. Regular preventive appointments (along with a consistent oral hygiene routine at home) offer the most conservative and effective way to prevent tooth decay, cavities, and gum disease long-term.
Do you accept children?
Yes! The youngest members of your family are always welcome at Starlite Dental! Our team has experience with children of all ages, and we’ll know exactly how to take care of your little one’s smile while keeping them completely comfortable. Whether it’s time for their first appointment or they have been going to the dentist for years, we know your child will feel right at home at Starlite Dental.
Do you accept dental emergencies?
Yes! If you or a loved one have an urgent dental situation (such as a knocked-out tooth or severe toothache), just give our office a call, and we’ll be happy to treat you. We strive to see emergency patients as quickly as possible, so if you need pain relief right away, don’t wait, give Starlite Dental a call!
What is the best way to replace my missing teeth?
While we offer numerous ways to replace any number of missing teeth, for most patients, we would highly recommend dental implants. They are the most complete and natural-looking restoration available today, and Dr. Jaiswal is an expert at both placing and restoring implants to ensure the quality of our patients’ outcomes. To see if you would be a good candidate for dental implants, you can take our short Dental Implant Candidate Quiz.
Can you help my smile look better?
Yes! Pretty much every service we offer has some aesthetic benefit, but to take your smile to the next level, we have a number of cosmetic services available. With them, we can whiten your teeth, get rid of noticeable chips and cracks, close large gaps, and much more. Which services would be best for you? We can help you put together a plan to get your perfect smile at a FREE consultation.
Is there a way to straighten my teeth that doesn’t involve metal braces?
Yes! It’s called Invisalign, and instead of using noticeable metal brackets and wires to shift the teeth, it utilizes a series of nearly invisible clear plastic aligner trays. With it, a patient can get the straighter smile they’ve always wanted while maintaining their daily appearance. And, using one of our special offers, you can even save $500 on the treatment! Will you accept my dental insurance?
We are in-network with most insurance plans and will happily do everything we can to maximize your benefits at every visit. To learn more about how we can use your particular plan to help you save, contact us today.
Is there a way to save on my dental care that doesn’t involve insurance?
Yes, we can help you qualify for a low-to-no interest payment plan with Lending Point, or you can sign up for our in-house dental savings plan. For just one low annual fee, it will completely cover your basic dental care for the year, you’ll receive discounts on all other services, and you won’t have to deal with deductibles, waiting periods, or annual maximums.
